To start you are going to need a good ink jet printer. The printer will have to have plenty of ink in the ink cart. If you are running out of ink you will notice that the color will seem faded. A fresh ink cart will make your card look better. You will need some good paper, typing paper is very thin and will not work. Printer paper is a bit thicker and will work ok. It’s best to see if you can find card paper.

Once you load the software you should be asked what kind of card you would like to make. Once you choose the kind of card you like, you need pick the style, or the way it folds. You should then see template cards with pictures and words already on them. You can change the words on them or keep it the same. If you decide to change the words, try not to replace them with more words than were there in the first place. When you make you card, preview it, if it has a print preview option. There should also be option to show you to fold the card once you print it out. If you plan on sending the same kind of card to many people, you need a color copy machine.
